HELP & FAQ

Quick answers about booking, payments, Prime matches and recordings.

How do I book a match?
Open Play Nearby, pick a turf and a time, then tap Book. Choose how many slots you want (up to 5 — yours plus friends), pay by UPI and upload the payment screenshot.
Is my slot held while I pay?
No — it's first pay, first in. Slots go to verified payments in the order they arrive, so pay and upload your screenshot as soon as you can. If the match fills before your payment is reached, your booking is declined and refunded.
When is my booking confirmed?
An SMF admin checks every screenshot against the amount, oldest first. Once approved, your booking shows as Confirmed in My Bookings and we message you on WhatsApp. If the payment can't be verified, the booking is declined with a reason.
What does a slot cost?
Standard slots are ₹210. Some matches are cheaper, and discounts like Bring a Friend can lower the price at checkout — the total you see there is exactly what to pay.
How does Bring a Friend work?
Book more than one slot and the offer appears at checkout. Depending on how the offer is set up, the discount applies to your friends' slots, to every slot, or to one slot — checkout shows exactly which, and how much you save, before you pay.
What is SMF Prime?
Prime matches are recorded and run by an SMF coordinator. Only Prime games count towards the ladder, because the recording and the coordinator's sheet are what make the result trustworthy.
Where do I find match recordings?
After a recorded match, the coordinator uploads the video and tags the players who were there. It shows up on your Game Recordings page.
Is there anything for the winners?
Yes — the winning team gets Gatorade, and so does the MVP of the match.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
There's no self-serve cancellation yet. If SMF cancels a match, pending bookings are released automatically and admins arrange refunds for confirmed ones. For anything else, message us on WhatsApp.

Still stuck? Message the SMF team on WhatsApp from your booking confirmation, or ask your match coordinator on the day.
